of Motifs including natural soapstone, green glass, and black
marble. Each piece has been cut, finished and engraved completely
by hand by Siku's own family of artists, on the shores of
beautiful Whitefish Lake in the heart of cottage Country
in Ontario, Canada. Soapstone can be found around the world,
but has a deep rich history in Canada and is often associated
with the carvings of the Inuit peoples of the north. Soapstone
in its natural form will vary in hardness, texture, and colour,
all of which add to the uniqueness of each piece.
